It securely locks into both standard cockpit winches and mast-mounted winches using its built-in locking mechanism.

Now with the SOLO attachment, you can operate the Powerwincher completely hands-free using the included remote control handpiece — ideal for solo sailors or when the winch is out of reach.

SOLO Restrainer – Fast & Simple Setup

The SOLO restrainer is designed for quick, tool-free installation. A unique feature is the open link at the end of the restraining rod, which allows it to drop easily into place over the sheet or halyard.

Battery Compatibility

The Powerwincher runs on the standard 18V 5.0Ah Milwaukee M18 battery, widely available worldwide from a wide range of hardware and tool suppliers. Many of our customers already own Milwaukee power tools, making this a cost-effective and convenient solution.

Important Information for International Customers (Outside Australia)

Due to international air freight regulations, we are unable to ship lithium batteries or chargers outside Australia. As such, global orders of the Powerwincher electric winch handle include the base unit only — without battery or charger.

The Powerwincher is powered by the widely available Milwaukee M18™ 18V battery system, which is sold in most regions around the world. This makes it easy for you to purchase a compatible battery and charger locally — often at better prices and with region-specific warranty and support.

We recommend using a local search engine or AI tool such as Google or ChatGPT to find the best current options in your country for either:

• Compatible third-party alternatives, if preferred.
